Shaun Smith says i owe money and is threatening me with a lawsuit and possible jail time Internet
This person states he is going to file a lawsuit in the next 24 hours and to seek legal representation in the courthouse. He further states that they reserve the right to commence litigation for intent to commit wire fraud under the pretence of refusing to repay a debt committed to, by use of the internet. I do not have any internet debt, I do not know what this person is talking about.

Was his threat to sue you in an email? Sounds like that Payday Loan collection scam that has been around for many years. Go to FTC.gov and read all about it. The whole intent of mentioning a lawsuit and jail time is to scare you enough to pay money to the scammer. There is no jail time in the US for unpaid debt. Especially since the debt to the scammer is non-existant! The threats are just to intimidate you enough to send money.
Thank goodness you didn't fall for it. Report him to the FTC.gov anyway.
