Shawna Seigel - 1 Choice For Your Store Caused a my site to be Downgraded via an Unnatural Link Penalty by Google Granger indiana
I hired Shauna Seigel's company 1 Choice for you store in 2012 to improve my sites SEO. She told me that I would be working with a woman named Aunesty Janssen. I spoke with Aunesty and she promissed that she would work on the key words used on my site, write blog entries, and use what are considered to be white hat SEO techniques.
The work performed added thousands of links pointing back to my site. Most occomplished by adding low grade, non-sense content to even lower grade blogs. This resulted in my site being penalized by Google 6 months later for "unnatural links" pointing to my site.
I contacted Shauna Seigel and she said that employing Aunesty Janssen had been a mistake. She went on to say that Aunesty caused problems and stole her customers. She refused to stand behind the work done by Ms. Janssen, and offered me no solution to get out from under the Google penalty. She did offer to install a "buy it now button" on my site which would, so she claimed, result in an amazing uptick in sales. I did not take her up on this offer as I had by now no faith in her efforts and feared further harm to my site.
I ended up spending over $3,500. with consultants to petition Google on my behalf, showing data that proved I was aware of the all the unnatural links pointing to my site, how many I had managed to get rid of, and all the web owners I had contacted.
Shauna did not stand behind her company's work and left me ou to dry. I was a nightmare experience!
