In August of 2012, I contacted J.C. Slayton at his place of business in Holland, Texas for the purpose of having him build 2 cabins on my property outside of Hillsboro, TX. I gave him a check for the deposit on the first building. When I contacted him to get started, like everyone else, it was like pulling teeth to get him to return my calls. He then moved his base of operations to Bertram, TX in Burnet County and changed the name to ShedsOnSite.com. He came to my place and we signed a contract for him to begin construction by March 29, 2013. I have not seen him since and his website is no longer valid.
The man is a crook.
