Complaint Review: Shell Gas Direct Project United Kingdom

Received an unsolicited email regarding a job offer in the U.K. with Shell Gas Direct Project. I did not think it was suspicious at the time because I have my resume on Monster.com and I did select the petro industry as an area of interest for me. I also have my resume on other worldwide websites. Anyhow, I sent the requested info back to them and had not heard from them until today, October 9, 2007 when I received an email regarding validation of employment offer. To date, nothing has been sent or communicated to me about what this job entails or salary and benefits. I was going back through my email and I saw one on Monster.com's database being hacked into and resumes being stolen, thus possible misrepresentation. So, I decided to google this company and see what's going on. Needless to say, I was not too terribly surprised to see that this is a fraud, just wished I would have googled it sooner. Thanks for putting the data out there for those of us who are to trusting.
