In 2016 my mortgage had a zero balance. I own my home! I havent made a Mortgage payment besides paying the taxes since. Which is good because I now only make $9.25 an hour working part-time with no stocks or investments or partner to help me.

I had gotten sued by another mortgage company and the case was dismissed. Now I have Shellpoint come in trying to lay claim on my home. They  paid my first half taxes this year(2019) and then put on my credit report in Feburary 2019 that I  have a $42,000 mortgage payment  they are claiming I owe.

The catch is they put in that I was in good standing as far as paying a mortgage which I am NOT and never did. Never heard of Shellpoint until a few months ago never dealt with them never agreed to a loan with them they are just playing the system Hoping on my ignorance.

I have not refinanced or sold or bought another home. I read on line this is what Shellpoing does. They put you in good standing and then stop paying. They then claim to the courts and put you in foreclosure. The courts just think you stopped paying a mortgage and allow them to foreclose.

I have been in my home and paid a mortgage for 28 years. The house would not be able to sell at that amount if that was the case. I have already with repairs and Mortgage payments, also taxes.  paid 6x what the house was originally listed at. It is over 120 years old. Needs repairs that will cost me at least $20,000 in the future.

I live in a very dense neighborhood.  Many houses sold at $3000 because they were  vacant.

And I am very angry that at 61 years old have I have these bullies disturbing my peace. It is plain that the Shellpoint  company is a scam and looking for easy victims.

I have already fought one mortgage company and won now I have to fight Shellpoint.  It worries me that vulnerable people are taken to the cleaners by fraud and corrupt activities.

I am searching for freedom and truth. I do not want to be elderly and having something I worked so hard for Half my life just be taken away because someone think they see a profit. My home would never sell for $42,000.  with 9% interest. Why do they expect me to pay that??? and why are they allowed to try??

The city sent back my taxes because they were paid this quarter that is why I thought what why is someone paying my taxes. I dont communicate with the company never did. The question IS why is the company assuming a mortgage where this is none and paying my taxes and reporting it paid on time???? I read online they do this then stop then try to foreclose on a mortgage that they have no right too.

Based on your narrative this is the second mortgage company(or servicer) coming after you for mortgages you claim you don't have.

You also said you haven't made a Mortgage payment "except for paying taxes". But if you own your house free and clear and do not  have a mortgage, you would NOT be paying your taxes to a mortgage company you would be paying them to the tax officialls directly.

You said that this company paid your first half of you taxes, so since you are inferring you don't have a mortgage does that mean that you paid them as well and in effect double-paid them? If you didn't pay them, who do you think would have?

You seem to know the Interest Rate(9%) so this is not just something you pulled off of your credit report.  You have either talked to them directly or they have sent you corrospondence through the mail.  At any time have you actually asked them what this loan was for and why do they think you  owe it?

So there is something you aren't telling us.
