 Illegal, unethical and immoral repair and service behavior to report...On 5-1-13 I dropped off my car for a factory recall on a software update upon returning to dealership and pick up the vehicle the driver’s seat was damaged and did not function or did not work properly.  I alerted the service person on duty he said he spoke with is shop foremen and my seats need to be reprogrammed now and it will take min. 3 days.  They gave me a lower class BMW rental and said the rental would be no charge.   Then 48 hours later I get a notice that my cars seat motor had burnt out, and there will be no charge for repairs and the loaner call will be 80 dollars a day.  I questioned that fact with the service advisor Fred, he explained to me that a motor for my seat was needed and loaner car was no charge.  I explained to him I need to return the loan on Monday right away and he said the loaner was no charge.  I explained to him that the motor was damaged while your company was working on my car and when you employee moved my seat.  I also spoke with Maria acting service manager she said she would look into the seat damage and at the very least the loaner car till Monday night will be at no charge.  Then I get an email the next day Friday from the service manager Luis demanding the loaner car be returned that Friday with an 80 dollar a day charge and the repairs would be 800 dollars.  I explained to him that the car was in the dealerships possession, his employee altered, changed my seat programming and the car was damaged while in their care.  The general manager is Steve Rudwick and the Vice President is Michael Chadwick.  There are reports on the ripoff alert about Shelly BMW trying to charge for unnecessary repairs.  Please help.
