heartbroken Shelly had sold me a kitten, I thought she was beautiful until I had her a few days and she started going bald. My veterinarian said it was stress induced ringworm fungus and My precious kitten would have to be quarantined for over 30 days. She had small lesions under her fur that I thought was her playing with her littermates but my vet confirmed ringworms, 3 baths a week for a month and my poor kitten had to receive minimal physical interaction which made her very unsocial very quickly it was so sad I cried almost daily. Shelly ignored my phone calls blocked me on social media has not responded to any of my emails.
I was just asking for a partial refund or help with medical bills. She openly admitted that she had internationally bought some cats from another country who had visible lesions and she was not able to clear them or cover those up so she did something to get rid of these poor cats :( and maybe that was the partial cause of my Kitten being so sick... BUT then I stared asking around and met Other clients of Shellys online who have had horrific experiences, some even fatal so I guess ultimately I got pretty lucky considering my kitten is treatable, one kitten of hers tested positive for PKD after it has sadly passed away and two others from HCM that died between the age of two and three years old.
Shelly is a BACKYARD BREEDER . I could not believe all of the complaints she has had and hides them so well. Pretends to be knowledgeable but is a scammer. She told one of her kitten parents that she had spent 3 years becoming a veterinarian but had to leave school because of a family situation. We found out those were more of her ridiculous Narcissistic and sociopathic lies just to trap people into her web, she told other clients more ridiculous stories as well. Run away from her as fast as you can or you too may sadly end up another one of her victims. Shelly claims to love her cats so much but her kittens are in a basement room that she calls a cattery tuckes away with very little attention just enough to make you believe she cares. Poor cats.
As for my sweet kitten she's doing better. Persians are often well known carriers of the ringworm fungus and show no symptoms often times, so that is a concern that even when I have her clear any stress could bring it back to the surface and again my family can be infected again as well . My children are still sad I do not understand why they cannot cuddle her but I am trying to spend as much time with her being cautious not to get more lesions on myself. She is doing well considering. STOP this heartbreaking backyard breeding scam that leaves more and more sick kittens to suffer.

Now that I have had some time to review this website and others like this as well as do some online research, they DO NOT make you provide ANY PROOF whatsoever that your complaint is true. So literally anyone who has a beef with you can log onto these sites and make false accusations against you and they stay there forever — that is UNLESS, you as the person being accused pays a horrendous amount of money to have it taken down with no guarantees that the same person will make false accusations against you again and start it all over. Its really a shame and fraudulent. I myself am turning this over to my attorney for an investigation so that his team can do their thing to discover where the phony complaint came from and then take legal action.
The internet can be an amazing tool for people who use it properly; but for those corrupt people or con artists, it is a dangerous weapon. Please people, anyone reading these lies, please reach out to me via my Facebook page, and I will be happy to share with you references, and even my vet’s information who is happy to verify what I am saying — that this is nothing but malicious fabricated lies to ruin my reputation.

I have 3 cats/kittens from Shelly Wright. They have all been in perfect health and certainly NO ringworm!!! I received documents from her vet with all the health checks and shots. I have been inside her home on many occasions and the place is immaculate. The babies I have were the most social and loving, from being socialized by Shelly.
I don't know who wrote this report, but I can promise you they are lying. It is a real shame that someone can just openly spread lies at the click of a button and not be held accountable. It is a real shame!! I can also say that Shelly takes care of all of the kitties. She gave me names of other owners, some I know well, and NONE of them had any problem with their babies. You would not ever go wrong getting a kitty from Shelly Wright.

I can simply and easily say that the complaint made against Shelly and her cattery is ridiculous! Shelly is one of the most caring and responsible breeders I've ever met! She produces beautiful and healthy kittens that are free from diseases and in perfect condition! Her home is meticulous and she doesn't keep any cats in cages. We visited her twice before picking out a beautiful kitten.
She was reasonable about the price, provided health guarantees and proper paperwork showing health testing. Whoever posted this complaint obviously is just trying to start trouble to ruin Shelly's reputation. I'd like for the complainant to show proof that they bought a sick kitten from Shelly! Where is the sales contract and vet bills. Otherwise, they need to remove this bogus complaint and apologize to Shelly!

I recently purchased a kitten from Shelly for our family in the past few months. We found her very friendly and helpful. She invited us to her home to view the conditions the cats were living in as that was important to us. It was clean and each animal was happy and healthy. They were playing in her cat room having a blast. There were no cages. It was fun to watch and we enjoyed getting to know her and play with kittens.
It was not like most breeders homes that had cat pee smells. We immediately liked her and felt she was honest and knowledgable. We visited for a while and chose our kitten. I cant agree at all with the complaint made here and had to speak up for her. I saw no signs of any cat in ill health. Our kitten also had NO ringworm. This complaint definitely seems like someone has a grudge to hold against her and is trying to start trouble or make her look bad. She provided us with testing documents, a health paper from her vet, kitten registration papers, and we got to meet the kitten's parents.
She welcomed us to call her vet and verify her credibility. I would buy from her again. I felt our kitten was reasonably priced for an exotic kitten as we had been shopping around for a while.

I have never sold a kitten to Norfolk, Virginia or to anyone named Sarah. Nice try though, Gretta Griffin. I figured you would come after me since I refused to pay you money for selling me sick cats. With legal advice, I was informed NOT to pay you. You never provided any health documents on them which in FLORIDA is against the law. Keep it up, dont try me. I was actually waiting to see one of these phony complaints come up because that is your style. You just want to hurt my cattery as I am producing healthy, well-socialized kittens and you are selling kittens with feeding tubes in bellies which die and other illnesses as well.
Where are the vet bills and proof? If you truly are a client of mine, produce your sales contract. I sell mine with a sales contract, health testing documents, and health certificate from my vet. I do have my vet who will back me that this is a phony review just to hurt my cattery as your are ticked off and this is your revenge….get over yourself…..Talk about a sociopath and narcissist, take a long hard look in the mirror!
