Complaint Review: shepard shelter

these people missuse our food stamp program by signing up everyone in the shelter on food stamps and then buy stuff like pop and candy bars to sell back to the clients to get cash out of it. they say the money from this snack bar is to be used for taking the clients out for outings but in 6 months i went on one and it was a clients birthday and he payed over 900 dollars to go for the group. they let intoxicated family members work when they are obviously on something(there son). they are so cheap they will not buy soap for the bathrooms to wash your hands, or to clean the bathrooms with.

there was an outbreak of ca mrsa  and no one was warned of the dangers. we kept usung the same toilet and were not allowed to use our own room toilet. i was told i had jock itch and when i asked of other it was passed off for a boil and rashes.

i have talked to others that now have ca mrsa from this facility. also the entire time i was there the drinking glasses stunk so bad you had to hold your breath to drink from them, this was because te dish washer was broken the whole time.

i personally was told to put dishwashing liquid in the bottom to let it splash up on dishes as it went through the cycles.

also this facility is supported by judges and prosecuting attorneys thats why people wont come forward to do something.

i was trapped there as a condition of my release into probation i had to complete it. that has been 3 yrs and i still have mrsa and it will never go away and may shorten my life, as a product of trying to clean my life up.

by the way i have been clean sence then and also stopped smoking cigarrets. test me any time!
