Complaint Review: Sheri Ward

On September 12th, 2013 I was online when I saw a posting by someone who identified herself later are Mrs. Sheri Geist of MD. She has posted an ad saying “ Anyone who has had any dealings with Heather Rose (who is a close personal friend), and for their opinions.”  Out of curiosity, I emailed, and asked “ What the deal was?” She then responded that Mrs. Wolf (  had defrauded her, and switched cats, and all sorts of additional rhetoric. I said nothing further to her, until I replied a week later stating to her that I had purchased several cats from Mrs Wolf, and was waiting to receive them. She told me, that “all the cats will be sick, and undersized, further to be wary I actually get what I purchased” She asked me to write down my dealings with her, in which I explained that I really have nothing to complain about. Mrs. Geist emailed me several times afterwards trying to pressure me to falsely slander Mrs Wolf, as she was trying to sue her, but I refused to respond.

A few months later Sheri contacted me stating she was interested in purchasing a few of my bengal kittens.  Despite the lies she had told about my friend I figured I'd meet up with her.  Three days later we met near her parents house at a public place near the boarder of PA and MD.  We talked and she seemed like a nice person.  After showing her the kittens and then showing her their pedigrees and vet work she agreed to purchase four of them.  I helped her transfer them from my car into hers and into their carriers, I sat with her and explained how to fill out their TICA registration forms and I even gave her two of my carriers for free because she had neglected to bring any.  She then said she needed to get her checkbook and proceeded to get into her car.  I waited by the passenger side door and to my disbelief she slammed the driver side door, locked the doors and proceeded to speed away with the kittens.  I called her and threatened to call the police as I chased after her.  Ten minutes later her husband came screeching up in the same car jumped out and handed me the carriers with the kittens - he simply said "She is crazy!  I am so sorry!  She has to stop doing this to people!".  Then Mrs Ward/Griest pulled up in another car and she an her husband proceeded to argue.  He stated that she had done this over and over and that she already had two court cases coming up.

Following this about two weeks later she began posting slanderous things online about me.  She called animal control and had them come to my home over and over again stating that I had a rabid dog (I have no dog) and other stories simply to try to get me into trouble.  I posted something online asking if anyone had problems with her and ended up finding a young girl who Sheri had arrested and was taking to court - Sheri scammed the poor girl and stole her rabbits and then turned around and called the police stating that the girl had stolen rabbits from HER.  I then heard from another woman in Maryland who was involved in a law suit with Sheri.

All I know is that this woman should NOT BE TRUSTED.  She only breeds animals and has them to try to make money - she doesnt care for them, they are all inbred and many have been stolen from others.
