I was irresponsible and ran up debt(credit line total, 1850) on three credit cards. I paid off the account in question in 2001, but didnt keep records( my fault.) I am currently trying to get records from Western Union to verify the payments to correct my credit score.

Basically, Associates Visa "charged off" my account and sent it to a collection agency, to whom I sent all of the settlement payments. Sherman Acquisitions claims to have purchased hthe charged off account directly from Associates, after the dates that I settled the account. They then sent that account to FMA Alliance, the company that is currently attempting to collect this non-existant debt from me.

This one debt has been reported on my credit three seperate times as three seperate accounts. I do not know what I can do, so if any of you savy revenger/rectifiers have any suggestions, please feel free to let me know.

All of this makes me appreciate Fight Club even more.
