Sherman Acquisitions ripoff, credit scam, fake debt Houston Texas
I recently ran my credit as I just paid off a loan, and expected my report to get better. Then what do I see, my report got worse!!!!! Sherman Aquisitions is on it, and says I owe them more than $500... I have never heard of them, so I looked them up and called them. They say I have an account with Montgomery Wards, and that I opened this account last year, from an address I have not been at in over two years, and that the account must be paid to remove them from my report. I did the right thing, I asked them to send me verification of the debt.
WELL, that was weeks ago and still nothing!!! I have written them and disbuted the debt, however, I still have had no reply from this company. I hope somebody puts this company in its place before they scam any money from any other consumer.
