Complaint Review: Sheryl Cole - Claims Executive - Travelers Casualty and Surety Company of America

Dear Readers of this Report:

I see Travelers Insurance has a large number of negative reports on their company.  No Wonder!  They are - without any doubt - the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with.

Here is our story:

My husband and I were badly screwed by a negligent real estate agent and her broker - from Better Homes and Gardens Realty - Masiello Group in Bangor, Maine.

The agent was completely negligent.  She failed to protect our interests as a buyer's agent.  We lost over $60,000 in real money, plus mental and physical pain, which lasts through this very day.

Unable to afford a lawyer, we filed a claim for damages with the company lawyer.  We had hoped to reach an agreeable settlement with them.

That lawyer for the Masiello Group turned our complaint over to Sheryl Cole - a Claims Executive of Traveler's Insurance.  When we found out it was Traveler's Insurance - we know things might not go well.

We did speak to Sheryl Cole back in early April, 2018.  At first, she seemed cordial and professional.  She wanted us to send her more information - like our rebuttal to a major complaint we made to the Maine Real Estate Commission.  We did so and thought she was going to read the material and discuss the material with us.

A phone appointment was made on May 10, 2018.

Back on May 5, 2018, we received a FALSE LETTER OF DISMISSAL OF OUR COMPLAINT we made with the Maine Real Estate Commission against the Real Estate Company.

Before I go on, with the Traveler's Insurance, I want to say that the 5 PAGE DISMISSAL LETTER BY THE MAINE REAL ESTATE COMMISSION WAS FALSE.  Our valid complant was minimized, distorted and full of LIES.  

The investigator was BRUCE OSBORNE.  I now want to WARN all readers out there, DO NOT FILE ANY COMPLAINT - AGAINST ANY MAINE AGENT WITH THE MAINE REAL ESTATE COMMISSION.  You will only get fustrated when they destroy your valid complaint.

If you ever do file a complaint and BRUCE OSBORNE is assigned to your case, RUN - DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS MAN.  He is biased against the citizen.  He also does not like assertive women.  He should be fired, but is protected by the corrupt Maine State Government.

Back to Travelers.  On May 10th, Sheryl Cole called me.  I thought she was going to discuss the claim and the materail we sent to her, however, the first words out of her mouth were:

DO YOU KNOW THAT YOUR COMPLAINT WITH THE MAINE REAL ESTATE COMMISSION WAS DISMISSED?

She said this with her voice dripping with sarcasm.  She, obviously, received a copy of the wrongful dismissal and now could not wait to insult us.

I tried to explain to her that the dismissal was wrong and full of lies, minimizations and gross distortions of the real truth.

She simply did not care.  She did not want to discuss anything with me.  She just said that she will send us a letter of Claim Denial.

Dear Readers, a Claim Denial - from Travelers is ususally what most people get when they file a claim.

Traveler's Insurance reminds me of the movie THE RAINMAKER with Matt Damon and Jon Voight.  A company called Great Benefit, had a policy of denying claims routinely hoping the insured would not consult a lawyer.

The movie should have been about Traveler's Insurance.  I had bad experience with them in the past as well.

Ms. Sheryl Cole was also rude and nasty to me.  She would not listen to me and even said,  YOU OUGHT TO BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU ACCUSE PEOPLE OF?

She gives new meaning to a word often used against high and mighty women.

She would not reply to any phone calls nor e-mails I sent after the denial letter.  In fact, she had her FLUNKIES reply to me saying Ms. Cole is a Perfect Angel and not rude at all.  Of course that is another lie.

I would advise all readers out there to TRAVEL AWAY FROM TRAVELER'S INSURANCE.  DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY IN PREMIUM DOLLARS.

WHEN YOU NEED THEM THE MOST, THEY ARE SIMPLY - NOT THERE FOR YOU.  Find another insurance company for your needs.

This is a truthful story.  The readers would do well to heed our sound advise.

Two Little Senior Citizens VS an Insurance Giant

There is no winning because the State Insurance Commissioners are on the Side of the Insurance Companys.

Why?  Because their election campaigns coffers are filled with donations from Insurance Companys, so Why should they they on the side of the Citizen?

This is food for thought.
