Shipex Logistics DUMPED my container because unprepared driver didn't have 4x4 truck to back up trailer Salt Lake City Utah
The driver contracted by Shipex was 7 hours late and showed up with my 40' container with only a 2 wheel drive!!!! The delivery site was flat other than a small incline that the driver needed to back up the trailer with the container to be placed on 4 of the 6 cement supports. (The first driver arrived on time and placed the container on 4 of th 6 supports.
So it is not about the ability to do the job right.) He started to spin out when he tried to back up and was stuck. He DUMPED the container where it was to be able to try to get his truck to pull forward. When I called Conner, Shipex Manager, he told me that it was now my responsibility to pay $1000 for a back h*e operator to pull, push, lift and slide the container to the right place. He didn't care about their customer service or even to provide ANY customer satisfaction with their lack of ANY efforts to right their BOTCHED delivery.
NEVER NEVER WILL I EVER USE THESE PEOPLE AGAIN. SO GOOD LUCK. YOU MIGHT GET LUCKY WITH ANOTHER DRIVER BUT IF YOU GET A DRIVER LIKE I DID, GET READY TO PAY A LOT MORE MONEY TO MOVE YOUR CONTAINER WHERE THEY SHOULD OF BEEN ABLE TO DO IT RIGHT BUT REFUSE TO CARE.
