While searching for an outlet of Gucci shoes, I came across this website www.shoesempire.com with outstanding offers and not limited to Gucci but also Prada and other well known fashions brands.  When something is too good to be true, it's because it is NOT true...and I should know this by now. However, this fast shipping Turkish based company has managed to create a website to deceive the most experience shoppers out there...Here is the SCAM:

They will post real pictures of current and slightly old models of Gucci and Prada shoes mainly on their website, or perhaps they are own shoes...who knows at this point.

They will advertise at unmatched prices, sometimes at 50% OFF the lowest discounted prices found on the internet, and quite honestly prices unheard of for those brands, but the pics look legit and all of the credit and internet bureau logos are very bold throughout their site, with authenticity guarantees everywhere (I will tell you about that down below).  So you convince yourself that this might be worth the try and you go and buy yourself a pair ( I bought 2, a pair of gucci shoes and a pair of gucci thongs).

It arrived very fast!! When you open the package you come across a really good fake shoe box by Gucci, and inside, a Shoe bag made with a cheaper version of the shimmering fabric used by Gucci holding the goods inside, and finally you get to the eagerly waited pair of shoes, which in all honesty is a Good fake in looks, nevertheless terrible fitting, cheap leather, and completely off size charted. For the less educated on these brands, they might never know the difference; However, if you have bought at least one legitimate pair of Gucci loafers before, you will know the difference right away.  Now, the thongs are a little bit more obvious fakes, due to its awkward and uncomfortable fitting, it squeaks when you walk, and has a very strong smell of toxic glue....At least it was freshly made just before shipping, if you want to look at it that way.

Now, here is the best part about it....You realized you have been scammed, and you are trying to see if it s worth trying to return it, but again, it s going overseas so any thing could happen...and you can rest assure that the chances are high that something will happen, but you decide to take the risk and look up their return policy. If they scam you once, they will scam you twice.

Not only do you have absurd deadlines to return the merchandise before you are at their mercy to return you the money, now you have to purchase a RMA, which stands for Return Merchandise Authorization for a bargain of $39.99!! Plus you pay for the return shipment and you hope that they will reimburse you if it ever arrives back there.....

Now, being in online marketing and sales, I blame myself for the purchase but also I know the entire thought process and I will tell you in sum that the odds of people "giving it a shot" like me, is High, whereas the chances of someone having to BUY A RETURN TICKET is low, so most people live with the scam, and even worse, dont even know they are buying fakes or if they know, they dont attempt to tell their story.....That $39.99 RMA is where they break even if not at profit in case of returns. It covers their cost of making the merchandise (they have figure this number out based on an average purchae of 1-2 shoes per order), marketing it online plus shipping and they still profit from it at that low amount....now how genius is it to be in this business and be located in a faraway foreign country??

PLEASE DONT GET YOUR CURIOSITY EXCEED YOUR SENSE OF REASON....SPEND A COUPL OF HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE AND GET THE REAL THING! AS MY MOHTER WOULD SAY, GOING CHEAP ALWAYS ENDS UP COSTING YOU MORE ON THE LONG RUN.

SHOES EMPIRE ARE A SCAM AND ONCE YOU REALIZED YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED IT WILL COST YOU TO ATTEMPT A RETURN WITHOUT EVER KNOWING IF YOUR MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED. THE FAKES ARE CHEAP LOOKING, WITH POOR FINISHING, TERRIBLE FITTING AND SMELL.  WHEN A WEBSITE HAS NO PHONE NUMBER OR CONTACT INFO, BE SKEPTICAL!! PLEASE HELP TO SPREAD THIS MESSAGE AND SHARE YOUR STORY IF YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED BY THESE GUYS.
