Shop America - Natural Cures ripoff, gave my information to 7 magazines and they all had my bank information Illinois
My husband made the big mistake of ordering The Natural Cures from Shop America.
All of a sudden we got subscriptions to 7 magazines (Maxim, US Today, Pen house, Men's Journal, Rolling Stones etc). Things we never ordered. When I called to cancel nobody wanted to tell me where they got my information, they just said "from a partner".
Finally one magazine was nice enough to disclose that my info was given to them by Shop America. Every magazine had our banking information, including bank address etc.
I called shop America and after asking for a supervisor, they hung up on me. I had to close my account in order to stop anybody from charging me.
The book was useless and I returned it. Needless to say I was charged for shipping $9.99. Complete rip off. The same book is $15.00 in Costco.
Something must be done to stop this company from operating. They are infringing on privacy law.
