Shop Star Style (www.shopstarstyle.com) is an internet based company that claims to sell replicas of designer brand goods (purses, shoes, wallets, etc). In February, I decided to take a leap of faith and purchase a pair of shoes on the site. When it came time to pay, the only options are paying this Jennifer Milner person via Western Union, a money order, or Alertpay.com.

I chose to pay her via alertpay.com with my Citibank Mastercard Debit. Alertpay is an immature, undeveloped company with basically no customer service reps, by the way. I called them to see if they had ever had any issues/problems with Shop Star Style and was on hold for 58 minutes after an automated answering service answered my call! so forget them, they are useless. i do know they seem to be legit by the way and researched them off Amazon.com

So, over a month ago i purchased my goods from Shop Star Style and paid via alertpay that same day. they did not take their money right away i noticed....it took them 5 days to take the money from AlertPay, but they did eventually. There was an automated response email sent to me thanking me for my order, and it gives a summary of my order with no shipment info or tracking number. i still have yet to receive that info! Then a week after i made my purchase from Shop Star Style i get an email, a one liner, "thankyou for your order.

you will receive your shipment in 5-10 business days. regards, Leanne" again, no tracking/shipment info. i have sent numerous emails to shopstartstyle@gmail.com (Leannes email) and get no reply. i call Jennifer's number that she leaves on her website - i get a voicemail that is full! i also emailed the email address that this Jennifer Milner gives as her email address for her alertpay, of course nothing. that email is shopstarstyle@shaw.ca and its useless.

now, i am using my bank to investigate them as they are doing a fraud investigation now. i WILL get my money back, and do everything in my power to bring charges to this joke of a person. her website needs to be legally forced off the computer, asap. Shop Star Style is a fraud, fake, scam, phony. DO NOT GO THROUGH THE TROUBLE I HAVE GONE THROUGH, YOU WILL HAVE YOUR MONEY STOLEN AND NO GOODS SENT TO YOU.

I previously put a post about Shop Star Style (www.shopstarstyle.com) and feel horrible. I would delete this post if i could, but i can't. i'm looking into it now but i want to put this up in case anybody reads this before purchasing from them. I had a situation where I ordered some Chanel Shoes in February of 2009 and had trouble obtaining a tracking number. The number on site was hard to get through (full voicemail), as well as Leanne's (their customer service gal) brief, short emails back to me saying i'd get my goods. Ok - i know this may be annoying but i'm sure Leanne is very busy...BECAUSE I EVENTUALLY GOT MY GOODS! I am so sorry that i jumped the gun and put that very mean-spirited, harsh post up...i was just so scared that i would get scammed b/c it was looking as if i was going to. Leanne ended up completely honoring the purchase....although the goods took a while to get to me....they were exactly what i purchased. She works hard and was more than pleasant with me via email. She even went as far as providing GREAT customer service when i had to exchange the shoes b/c they were too small for a bigger size. PLEASE IGNORE AND DISREGARD ANY NEGATIVE INFO OUT THERE ON THE INTERNET ABOUT SHOP STAR STYLE.COM You will be very happy with the goods and the service, i promise.
