After brainstorming for 4, we came up with a new catchy eCommerce website name: "Alleywaze.com" and launched it via Shopify. We listed our best selling items there, and we was planning on making around $5000/day in sales. Shopify provided a 1-stop-store: register the domain, build a site, use their inventory tools, etc.
We used them for a few weeks and then they asked us for invoices for most of the brands we are selling. We supplied them with everything and they said since we sell brand name items, we are a risk for them, since there are so many knockoffs out there. They decided to shut us down.
They will not give us any access to retrieve all the web pages and data we created and worked so hard for and worst of all, they will not give us back the name : Allywaze.com
We have come into dead-end when we try calling them, they are rude and not helpful. We honestly believe they liked the name too much, and would sell it in a year, when it expires on 4-12-2019, for a lot of money.

We are in the process of suing them since we are already losing money by not having a functioning website, which we feel they robed from me. They simply took our website "hostage". See you in court!

This is the condescending email, they sent me today, July 10th, 2018

Hello again!

Thanks for following up on this again! My name is Aidan and we had been discussing this earlier before you had spoken with a couple of other support agents about it.

Unfortunately in this circumstance we are not able to provide access to the domain. It has been refunded in full, so you were not charged for registering it, but it is not available to be registered again.

If you're interested in registering a custom domain then your best bet will be to register either a slight variation on that one, or to use a different kind of domain such as a .net or .store as opposed to the .com you had originally registered.

I apologize for any inconvenience, but this is not something that we will be able to reverse or reconsider. If you do have any further questions or concerns please respond back to this email to let me know.

Cheers,

Aidan
