Machine is a P4-1.4 Ghz purchased 09-02-01. Having hardware and software problems which Viscom will not back on their warranty.

Everytime I called they promise to call back withing 72 hrs, which never happens. Cannot use printer (bad USB card and/or ports), sound card (just stopped working), P4ITA motherboard (Device Mgr driver problems related to bundled software).

And the 30GB HD pre-bundled w/WinME and tech support had me Recovery in April,2002 and software has never been the same. ShopNBC delayed me until they rec'd final payment 3-26-02. Contacting ShopNBC telling them I had not finished payments of $2000, and now I have a junk machine, more delays.

Now nearly totally disabled and less than a year old. Viscom immediately jumped to conclusion that I wanted in-home debugging service, instead of hardware replacement. Advertised w/256K RAM and later found RD-RAM (expensive to upgrade).

ShopNBC mis-represented Viscom warranty advertised on TV is a ripoff. Every time you log onto Viscom they want you to upgrade your warranty $ 150 for two more years. Viscom replaced 1 19" Hyundai Monitor, Lexmark replaced 4 X73 printers due to intermittent USB port problems. Would you spend $2000 for a Viscom computer? This is fraud and they didn't observe Lemon-Law.
