ShopNBC - Viscom Technology NO TV RECPTION AT ALL, But, did get 1 radio station! ripoff Chaska Minnesota

10.2" portable TV/DVD/Radio, represented by Shop NBC to get reception from 90 miles away, got NO reception. The battery was not properly installed by manufacture. Instruction booklet said "Do Not Remove battery. Only use licensed technicians."

When reporting this to ShopNBC, they offered a 10% refund, but said that would negate returnin policy. Viscom offered to send 6 screws for me to assemble battery myself. I told them I was concerned the battery and connections on TV may have been damaged, as battery was free-floating in box with all components exposed. ShopNBC said I could return this TV unit and reorder, but my reorder would be at the current, higher price. How's that for customer service!

I have returned TV by UPS and insured it. Shop NBC is refusing to refund insurance fees. We're talking $2.80 difference. It's the principle. Obviouly Shop NBC is lacking in principles, as well as customer service and product quality. Very disappointing.
