My wife placed an order for a CD from Musicspace.com. Shoppers Discounts and Rewards (Shoppersdiscountsandrewards.com) (managed by webloyalty.com) was provided with her billing information and charged her $10/ month for over a year before it was noticed on the checking account statements. My wife had no idea that purchasing this item from Musicspace.com automatically signed her up for a shoppers rewards program that charged a monthly service fee. I went back to try to locate any information that was provided informing her of this arrangement, but I could not find anything. I have no idea what, if any, conditions were provided along with the agreement of sale. Nothing on the confirmation from Musicspace.com indicated she had agreed to a monthly service fee.

What is even more appauling is that the company (Shoppers Discounts and Rewards) had her mailing and e-mail address, billed her every month, and dispite her not EVER using the service for over a year, they never contacted her or sent her emails informing her of the company's services. This is a complete scam and I cannot believe so many reputable companies are partnering with these shady online marketing companies and ripping off online consumers. We will not be purchasing ANYTHING else from Musicspace.com and will be limiting our online purchases.
