Shoppers Anonymous Inc Sent check for 4,998.00 Wagner South Dakota
I received an envelope in the mail (with no return address & Canadian Stamps) from Shoppers Anonymous Inc. The correspondence included a letter stating that I had been chosen to be a mystery customer & a cashiers check for $4998.
The check was drawn off of Elberfeld State Bank & signed by what looks like Robert Smith.
The letter (from Pam Davids) basically stated that I was to pose as a potential shopper at Wal-Mart & The Gap & evaluate them.
The purpose of the check was to cover my expenses & pay me for my assignment. Here is the break down:
$ 300.00 - Salary & Training
$ 50.00 - Wal-Mart Purchase
$ 40.00 - Gap Purchase
$1579.00 Western Union Transfer
$ 99.00 Western Union Fee
$2873.00 MoneyGram Transfer
$ 57.00 - Money Gram Fee
Please Beware !!! I did not try to cash this check...I did a search first....I do not know of any company that will pay you in advance. I thought it might be a way of the scammers to get my banking information......Thank you Ripoff for having a website we can come to for this type of information!!!
