I received an envelope in the mail (with no return address & Canadian Stamps) from Shoppers Anonymous Inc. The correspondence included a letter stating that I had been chosen to be a mystery customer & a cashiers check for $4998.

The check was drawn off of Elberfeld State Bank & signed by what looks like Robert Smith.

The letter (from Jack A. Dill) basically stated that I was to pose as a potential shopper at Wal-Mart & The Gap & evaluate them.

The purpose of the check was to cover my expenses & pay me for my assignment. Here is the break down:

$ 300.00 - Salary & Training
$ 50.00 - Wal-Mart Purchase
$ 40.00 - Gap Purchase
$1579.00 Western Union Transfer
$ 99.00 Western Union Fee
$2873.00 MoneyGram Transfer
$ 57.00 - Money Gram Fee

Please Beware !!! that this is a scam. Once you cash/deposit the check it will bounce. Your will have already sent the wire transfers & you will be out of your money once the bank reverses the funds. I called the bank & notified them & yes, they confirmed that this is a fraudulent check. I have also called my local FBI & am forwarding the check to the.

Please .. Please .. Please Don't fall for this

Please Beware
