Me and my wife have receive three of these check scams within the last month. This one is for $3,380.00 and they want us to send them $2,980.00 back through western union.
It is easy to tell that this is fake because all of the addresses are different...the one on the white pages, the check, and the envelope. It is also easy to tell that it is fraud because of them wanting you to send them back so much money.
If that doesnt convince you, take it to your local sherrifs department and they will tell you that it is fake.
If you still wish to be STUPID!
Cash the b***h and within two months you will be responsible for the bounced check and the bank, and the police will be after you and you only...they know that in this situation the address on the check and papers are fake. To them it just looks like you managed to get ahold of 4 grand.
DONT!!!! cash these kinds of checks...they are fake.
It seems nice and easy, but if it seems to good to be true it is!!!
