On 10 June 2008 I was checking my American Express account and notice what appeared to be a fraudulent charge on the account. I did not order any membership to Essential Shopping online. I did a Goggle search and found that others have had the same issue with this company. I immediately contacted American Express and informed them of the issue and put a fraud alert on this company with this charge and others that may appear. Being that I live overseas my only access is through the internet to purchase certain items. If you are a victim of this company immediately contact your credit card company and do not wait to report this as a fraudulant charge because after 60 days you could be responsible for the charge as well as future charges from this company. When notifying the credit card company state to them that you will not pay for the charge and any future charges by this company. As indicated in other Rip Off reports under AP9*SHOPPING ESSENTIAL ripoff Connecticut it is a fraudulent activity to gain money that you did not authorize to charge.
