I just wanted weed control in my lawn. I got a lot more than I asked for. Two days after the weed control application, the leaves on several of my flowers and bushes, which have been there for years started to turn brown. I called them and told 3 days later told them the issue. They said someone would call me back that day. The next day I called and asked why no one called back yester day, they said "we don't know, Eric will call you back in 5 minutes."

Five days later, I called asking why Eric did not call 5 days ago, they said "we don't know, here's a manager." I spoke with the manager and someone came out 2 days later and inspected my flowers and bushes. The inspector said "it does look like the flowers and bushes were damaged by overspray." A week later another inspector came out and took more samples and concluded that the flowers and bushes were scorched by the sun, because they are in the direct sunlight.

Well their are leaves that never see the sun that turned brown, so their goes that idea. I told Gary I would not pay the $60 until they resolved my issues and he said "I understand." Well, I get a call from Camille the Owner/VP and she says "you have an outstanding balance, when are you going to pay it." I said "I'll pay it when you come and replace the flowers and bushes you ruined, which I never wanted you to do in the first place." She said "I'll give you a $10 credit towards your bill." I said "That's fine as long as someone comes out and plants them and makes it look like it did before your company came out."

She said "We'll see you in court" and hung up. I called back immediately and she picked up and I asked her if that's how she treats her customers by hanging up on them, she said "Yes", and hung up on me again. I called back w/in seconds and she answered, and I started talking and she just kept saying "I can't hear you, I can't hear you, we have a bad connection, and hung up on me again. I called back immediately again and got Gary, he said "Can I help you", I said "do I need to get to a land line", he said "a land line, I mean what did you say about a land line." The whole time I'm looking at my cell phone and it has full signal strength, all five bars showing. At that point it was getting ridiculously annoying.

I wrote a letter to the Owner, Glenn Scherzinger and mailed it to his house and have not received any reply, except I got another bill from them, reminding me their pathetic customer service. The event took place on Thursday Sept. 9, 2004. It has been over 2 weeks now and I haven't even received a letter or phone call, concerning my situation. Please help me help others by avoiding this company and the people that work for them.

Calvin, nowhere in your report do you mention if you regularly water. As you know, it hasn't rained in Cincinnati since maybe July or August (at least a good soaking one). Your plants were probably in bad shape because of the drought.

And I don't mean just spraying with a hose for a few minutes! Have you put a sprinkler on for a couple of hours every week for 3 months. I bet you didn't!

Maybe it was your fault? Just thought I would give you another side.
