Sidekicks LLC is an Edison, NJ based company who also does work in Colorado, Mass., and Arizona. Sidekicks is a poperty preservation company who takes work from nationals and gives it to sub contractors.
Sidekicks gave me a ton of work and my paycheck was short a few hundred each week. Then finally around Christmas 2010, I was expecting a $2,800 paycheck and recieved $234. The explanation I recievd was "I didnt get paid, so Ill look into it." That was from the owner, Pete. I never got paid for that and hundreds of other jobs I did.
It finally came to the point that I would take a $2,000 check form him and sign a contract to leave him and his company alone. I did it, one because I was in desprate need of a check and two, because I know I would never see any money from this fake company anyways.
The good news, I left Sidekicks LLC and started my own company. Currently, I am top contractor in NJ for two of the three major companies while Sidekicks struggles to find new contractors. (Just check craisglist and watch them beg) I warn anyone to steer clear of this company. I was his "top contractor" whe he did this to me. Another one of his "top guys" just left and went on his own because of no pay.
