Sierra Financial Management Group ripoff dishonest fraudulent sweepstakes Halifax Nova Scotia
September 6, 2006
Switzerland Lottery sent me a Certificate of Award certifying that I was one of the winners of the Switzerland International Lottery Programs, which is part of their promotional draws.
These lottery scam artists said that participants were selected through a ballot system drawn from 8,000,000 names and addresses of individuals who previously signed for the North American Sweepstakes. According to them, I had been awarded a lump sum pay out of USD $65,000.00 from the total prize money of US $12,000,000.00.
The Switzerland Lottery also said that a tax and clearance fee of $2,900.00 has been financed with my enclosed check, kindly deposit or cash the check to pay for my tax and clearance fee. I would receive a total of ($62,010.00), minus $2,990.00 for the TAX. My agent, Angie Arnolds, will elaborate more on that.
I called the phone number they gave me for the agent and the voice message always said the message box was full, the last time I tried to call an operator came on the line. I also tried to call the bank number on the check, but it was someone's personal phone and they were never available.
These lottery people wrote that I should take care of my winnings before September 15th 2006, otherwise they would assume that I was not interested in my winnings. So, if you receive anything similar to this in the mail, regard it as junk mail.
