I was an employee with this so called "business" for about 2 or 3 weeks. During that time i was promised that my appointments would be given to me, $15 dollars an hour for the appointments, a minimum of 12 appts. per week, commission, gas allowance, and so much more. But what i was told and what i got were two different things.
First we went through training, unpaid, to learn how to sell this product. After that you have your "practice weekend" they call it. You go do your presentations for your family and friends. They said "this is only practice and let them know that they have no obligation to buy."

So, i'm doing these presentations and my boss, nicknamed "Prince" real name Turyk or something, gets on the phone with my family and friends and acts so rude and pushy trying to sell these things. So like i said, we only had to do 12 a week to get our supposed $600 dollars. that weekend i did 10. I ended up selling one to a family member who thought it was great. ( the product was really good but just wasnt worth all of this). So i sell the product and go to work the next week.

The next thing i gotta find out is i have to canvas neighborhoods passing out flyers for hours and thats how we got our appointments. Much different than "having your appointments handed to you." One day while in the office the new training class was in the office and i had my flyers sitting out in a big stack and one of the "managers" there told me to hide those because he didnt want the trainees to see the flyers. I wish i would have saw the flyers when i was in training so i knew not to waste my time. I did this the whole week and NEVER got an appointment. I was getting very angry about this and did it a few days the next week when i finally told "Prince", " i feel like i was told a completely different idea of how this business really worked." Thats when i quit.

That same day i was paid for my sale. I was promised for my first sale that i would recieve $250 dollars. When i got my check it was for $150 and when i asked why they said it had something to do with how they financed the system.

This was not the end of the scam. A month or two later, that same system i sold to my family member turned out to be a scam in itself. They financed her for an extra thousand dollars that she never agreed to, to a different address in a different city and all. Thats something they is being delt with in court right now, i hope they all lose their jobs and get put in jail and raped repeatedly. Thanks.

Great Place To Work

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Mon, December 22, 2008

I worked for Sierra Industries for about 2 years, made great money and the checks were always good. I wish I could have worked there alot longer but my wife accepted a job out of state and we had to move. After reading these reviews it kinda makes me chuckle, not sure what type of workers these people are,but like I said....I would go back and work for this company anytime..
