I was contacted by Austin Carter back in December of 2011 with a slick story about how there is grant money available for startup businesses like my own.  I had worked for organizations before that had obtained grants, so I knew going in that this was likely legit.  I was PROMISED there was $200 - $300K available for my business.  As I remember the quote "It is just a formality."

After several exchanges of phone calls and emails with Austin, I decided to send in my $5925.  The process consisted of filling out several documents asking about the specifics of the business.  After submitting these files, I was told my business plan was on its way.  2 weeks later is get what looks like something that came out of a Freshman English class from Santana Cantrell.

This thing had spelling errors ranging from my name, the city my business was in to completely inaccurate financials.  The table of contents was errant showing page numbers that didn't exist.  There were sections missing, etc.  This showed me they used a "cookie-cutter" template and forgot to change some things.  I then got the corrected version from Christina Stevenson.  This one was at least presentable, but still had inaccuracies which Christina corrected.  It was finalized and approved on January 3rd, 2012.

After that, they told me they submitted me for several grant applications.  From that point on, they left me high and dry.  I called several times between February and April and finally got an email response from Lana Smith stating she would "check into it" and call them. Nothing again.  I called several times between April and September.  Now I get nothing.  At least tell me something. Stay away from these people.
