Sierra Mountain Express has a pay period for their employees on the 1st and 15th of evry month, but if the 1st lands on a Saturday, we don't get paid until the following Monday, and so forth. We should get paid on that Friday before the 1st.

Sierra would rather use shills than pay its bills!

First off, for my anonymous brother/sister who wrote the original post: the next time Sierra Mountain is so much as a minute late with your paycheck, get in touch with the California Dept. of Labor.

Second, for the rebuttalist Steven: how much are your pimp bosses paying you to w***e for their company? That's exactly what happens when you shill! Who cares aboout direct deposit? Companies want you to have DD for their benefit, not yours! It's easier for them! Tell your masters to pay their f-ing employees on time! Capiche? Say yes...that's it! Good shill! When the Hammer sees the shills, they head for the hills!

This report filed about Sierra Mountain Express is not true in the slightest. I've been working for Sierra Mountain Express for over 2 1/2 years and have only experienced the above at limited times, and always due to reasons beyond the control of the company.

During my employment paychecks have been supplied for direct deposit and posted to my account the day before they are due consistently, and in the case of hard copy checks they have always been sent overnight to arrive on the 1st and 15th.

This company not only pays on time, but they actually do not hold a period of payroll, ie: two weeks, they actually pay you for the current time, no lag time - so this person is obviously misguided and upset at something and wants to scar the name of my company.

With approxiametly 15 terminals nationwide we must rely on overnight delivery services to deliver paychecks.

This is a very good company to work for, and they do something I've never seen in my 25 years in the professional world of business, they are actually paying you for time worked before its complete to ensure it arrives at the beginning of the next pay period.

This person is obviously confused.
