We have been receiving water service from Sierra Springs for a little over a year now. We move our business in January 2012 just down the street to a larger location. I contacted Sierra Springs during the moving process to change our address, but the phone number listed for them locally states that it is disconnected.

I ended up calling the "800" number on their website and got a hold of a nice lady whom I informed of the move and our new location. Our phone number never changed and our mail was properly forwarded.

In March, I realized that we have not seen the "water guy" since we moved and I have not got any bills. I had my service manager contact Sierra Springs again to reconfirm that they changed our address, and to find why we have not got any bills. He informed me that we was able to talk to somebody there and confirm our address, and request our billing.

Last Monday morning, I get a call from a COLLECTIONS COMPANY stating that we are in default and that Sierra Springs has not been able to contact us. I informed the person from collections about the information above and that I have three large signs in the windows of my old place directing people down the street to the new place that cannot be missed, and told her I would contact Sierra Springs about the matter.

I immediately called the 800 number on Sierra Springs' website. I select the "existing customer" option and get a recording asking me to leave a message. I hung up and called back again and chose the "new customer" option and got the same message. I left a message regarding the situation and my contact information.

Tuesday morning, I haven't got a callback, so I called Sierra Springs again and get the same message no matter what option I choose. I left another message stating the urgency of the situation. I called back over 10 times throughout the day and only got a message. I searched the internet for a local number but that number was disconnected.

Wednesday. No callback. I call them and get the message again. Not once all week has a human answered the phone. I have been calling them for 5 days now and no one answers? Now I am a respected business owner and not someone that skipped the bill. I left a message on their machine Friday that basically said that if they do not get in contact with me immediately that I will take their cooler and water jugs and put them in my display window with this story.

Terrible, Non-Existent customer service. Delivery guy that acts like if you don't take water when he comes, that someone outside will shoot him... Not good.

Called the "800" number on their main page again this morning and got the message system again. Finally I dug deeper in the website and found a different number which finally got me a human.

I informed "Robert" about the situation, and I asked him what my address was and he gave our old address once again. He then insisted that I never called to update and that I did not call for a week and get a message machine. I told him to call the phone number on the main page of their website and see for himself. He put me on hold, came back and told me that he got through to someone.

He then informed me that I am going to have to pay all the charges to now and they will take me off collections. I asked him why I should pay if I never received service? He then informed me that I had the cooler and I still have to pay the rental on it.

To finish, I cut a check and mailed it so they go away (paper trail). I told them to get their stuff out of my store. After hanging up, I went next door to my friends design business and we called the "800" number on the website. We got the message machine. With a witness. So we left one.

Resolved? Maybe not. But it is over.
