I bought from my Dealer Sig Sauer 1911 Target Pistol, I paid lots of money for upgrades ( see their website) and quality parts.  Pistol as lemon out off box, sight and spring box fell off during firing, grip safety spring was soft, and on so called match grade barrel had tool marks and rough spots on riflings. I contacted Sig Sauer and explained the situation; they
took the pistol in under warranty. I had to send the pistol in two times to fix these issues, but the barrel always came back, no comment. I called customer service and rude rep told me I had to send in pistol at my own expense and they might take a look at it. I took the pistol to Dealer, after his gunsmith looked at the barrel, he called Sig Sauer and asked them to send him another barrel and his gunsmith would install it for them free of charge, Sig Sauer refused, they refused to talk to gunsmith. I filed complaint with BBB NH.
According to Case # 16042862 Sig Sauer has different definition on Match grade barrel, than rest of us. Sig Sauer States: The marks on the barrel have been deemed with in factory fit and finish by Sig Sauer 1911 pistol smiths and
later Sig Sauer states we will replace any defective parts that are deemed out of specification by Sig Sauer. This does not include TOOLMARKS CRESTING during the traditional manufacturing process BBB case was closed, unresolved. BBB
Findings Sig Sauer did not make good faith effort to solve case You have been warned. I would have been better off just flushing this money down the toilet.
