Here's the skinny on this one - I speak from experience

They say the training is "easy to follow" - LIE!
The deal is, the classroom, part of the school, lasts two weeks in Florida. That means you have to take time off of your job to go there. They will not come to you. And they should for the start up cost!

They say they will help you set up all of the equipment - That is a complete lie! They did not help us at all. We tried and tried to figure it all out.

No help on advertising either

As for the support, they say they will train your employees at no extra cost, that is not true. They left it to me to fully train themEVEN THOUGH I HAD NO CLUE WHAT I WAS DOING!!!

Run, don't walk from Signarama

I did not post any messages on this site. Someone used my name and this posting is quite frankly, b-ll sh-t.
I have had a wonderful relationship with the Sign-a-rama franchise.

Sign-a-rama delimma, expected more from the training and received less than expected

#8Consumer Suggestion

I had a similar experience in purchasing an existing sign store in NC. I had expected more from the training and received less than expected. We had to travel on our own to Atlanta for "training" that turned out to be nothing more than sales pitches from the "suppliers" to the parent company with some educational material mixed in.

I would be willing to assist in helping you with any questions you may have, and if you are truly interested in making this business work for you, please feel free to contact me, I have been in business since 1994 and I MADE it work for me,
even with the poor training!

As for the advertising, if done wrong it can cost you dearly. Everyone and their brother wants to sell you on something. Keep it simple and keep it directed at the bread and butter customers in the beginning (contractors, builders, real estate, auction, etc.) the referrals you will build will be amazing!
