I just got my Realtor license and I ordered 2 car magnets with my photo, company logo, name, phone number and e-mail address for my mini-van. I gave the owner my business card as a template to use which has all the correct information.

The owner sent me a proof in an e-mail to look over and to give him the "ok". I didn't see anything wrong and told him to proceed with the production of the magnets. I picked the car magnets up and paid $102.48 for both. I didn't notice that there was a lettermissing from my e-mail address until 3 weeks later when I was cleaning the magnets.

I was so impressed by the photo and quality of the magnet that I didn't notice the mistake. I called the owner and e-mailed him a couple of times and he wants to charge me 1/2 price of the full price to fix the mistake he made on the magnet.

How can I advertise my business with mistakes on my advertisements? SIGN-A-RAMA's answer was that no one looks at the e-mail address, only the phone number. I lost the e-mail of the proof, so I don't know if there was a mistake on the proof. Regardless, the mistake was on the part of the sign company that did not practice professionalism by double checking their work.

SIGN-A-RAMA's Company Mission Statement:

"We pledge ourselves to being a caring and honest franchisor to those around us and to our community, and we commit ourselves to the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of life".

I totally disagree and it shows me that there are less and less people with integrity nowadays.

Remember: "What goes around comes around".

that's why they send it to you to OK.

If you didn't catch it, the mistake is on you.
