Editor’s Comment:  8/16/2019 - Ripoff Report redacted, from the Title of this Report “(Signal Oil”) after the business name “Signal Oil and Gas” in order to help avoid consumer confusion between the Texas company named “Signal Oil and Gas” and the self-purported unrelated Wyoming entity “Signal Oil”.  While we have not independently verified the statement that the two entities are not connected, it is important that readers understand that businesses can, and often do, operate under the same, or similar name, but in different areas of the country/world.  Further, the same or similarly named businesses may even be in the same line of business.  However, the fact that businesses may have the same name does not necessarily mean that they are actually connected or one in the same.  Readers should take it upon themselves to conduct additional research to ensure that any posts, good or bad, that they read about a business are not being misapplied to wholly separate business simply based upon a name and industry.
