Signature Days Signaturedays.com Andrew Playford Ripoff scam for gift cards, chicago playboy filed bankrupt leaving the rest of us holding worthless gifts. Chicago Illinois
Signaturedays.com was a highly promoted online gift card company promising gift card access to classes, events, and crazy gifts like driving a Nascarr vehicle. The owner Andrew Playford and his company promoted this as an alternative to regular gift cards just in time for the holiday season.
Then filed for bankruptcy leaving anyone with the cards empty handed.
To make matters worse -- people online are claiming they purchased the cards right up until the time bankrupty was filed. The company knew things were rough and still they took consumer money.
Supposedly letters went out however I nor anyone I know ever received them.
As reported on another site, " I recently got your email via my Nelson Mandela Art site. Trust me I would have preferred not to have gone into bankrupcy. Thereare no winners in a bankrupcy, least of all me. Most people understandwhat an aweful process it is. It seems like you think I benefited insome way. I can assure you that was not the case and you have everyright to be angry. Regarding you not getting a letter. Our whole database was handed overto the bankrupcy trustee so if you aren't on it and you think you have a claim then you should let her know:
