Signtronix has many door to door salesman that offer signs. The have visited my restaurant many times offering the same sign at a discount if they can put their name on the sign. They are to expensive and I always say no.The salesman Hector Gordillo visited my business when only my wife was there. He talked her into listening to his sales pitch. The sign always cost $6000 in the past, but Hector said it was a special for Mexican customers and was only $1200 and we had to pay the full amount first. It seemed like a good deal, and my wife paid the full amount.

I called Signtronix many times after the sign was to be delivered. I talked to a Maria and she said there was no order for our business and that Hector was not an employee of signtronix and that there was nothing she could do. I looked on the signtronix web site and they list Hector Gordillo as a salesman. He took our money and we never got the sign. A few of my friends that own business got ripped off by the same salesman Hector. The company takes advantage of minority businesses. Beware of this company and do not give them your money.

I think we should all ban together, those of us who have been both ripped off and harassed, and do something. This company is getting away with these atrocities because they target the small business person right at the onset, knowing that we don't want to spend the money on an attorney for something we may or may not win!
BUT if we file a class action law suit, maybe they'll get the message! I notice a pattern, where Signtronix claims they have no responsibility for what their salesmen say and they won't follow up on anything the salesman promised. It seems the salesman can just walk away with your money and you're left holding the bag!
