Siguendo Muelle Shirley (manager) Made me work without pay; refused to answer to nonpayment demands Coral Gables Florida
This is a report against Segundo Muelle. I was here two weeks ago for an interview as a bartender. The hiring manager Shirley told me to stay for the dinner and check out the way it runs. She then tells the head bartender that I am the new bartender. Without starting an application or even filling a W-2 form, he told me he wanted to see how I am behind the bar. I immediately started working the entire night. I was not paid even though Shirley indicted that I am the new hire. Some restaurants will allow to begin the hours and they will adjust the clock and paycheck for your time. However, its a hassle to even start a converstaion with Shirley. She will not repsond to my calls or my messages.
