I ordered online a pair of Georgio Brutini plain toe shoes. When I opened the box I discovered one shoe had an obvious factory defect. The front seam between the upper and lower shoe was crooked and uneven. The plastic molded seam looked cheap and was not done properly.


I returned the shoes just as received with tags still attached. Silberman's received the return the very next day. I have UPS confirmation they received the shoes. I indicated on the return form that I wanted a refund. I waited several days and did not receive a refund.


I sent and email and Silberman's confirmed the shoes had been received. I waited a few more days. I sent another email and Silberman's took the time to email me back again just to say the refund would take up to 30 days. They do not need thirty days. Meanwhile I am being charged interest on the cost of the shoes on my credit card.


I would not do business with Silberman's again. I am surprised anyone would sell a pair of new shoes with such an obvious defect. I do not trust their motives and I am still waiting for my refund.
