Complaint Review: Silver Dollar City - Herschend Family Entertainment

Silver Dollar City in Branson Missouri has a bad habit of terminating employees who were injured on the job and refusing to pay for medical and follow the medical restrictions set by the physicians for the injuries sustained to the employees on the job job site.

There are countless employees who have been terminated due to such injuries a few examples are

1) older gentleman terminated for having a heart attack at work,
2) woman in foods services terminated for having a stroke at work,
3) woman in foods services terminated after refusing to give personal doctors name and phone number so that he may be contacted to have restrictions released,
4) woman in foods services terminated and all medical bills refused to be paid by silver dollar city including surgeries after the company accepted liability for the injury.

The above mentioned is just at the Silver Dollar City location and does not include any other properties that may share the same practices.

I have full knowledge of these events as I am formerly employed by Silver Dollar City and am one of the many individuals who was terminated due to a medical problem which occurred while at work and on the clock at Silver Dollar City.

Silver Dollar City mistreats its employees and does not care if they leave their employees disabled or not so long as the employees come in do their job and don't say anything about the treatment they receive and don't push for medical treatment after an injury is sustained there.

It has been two years since I myself sustained a life changing injury there and am still fighting this company for payment of medical bills and compensation.
