The reason why I signed up to ripoffreport.com because I would like to share what I had experience which is pretty much similar to other victims. I used my credit card as a down payment. After the transaction, I did a lot of research and found out it was bad investment. They mislead a lot of people, you, me, them, you name it!!!
I decided to cancel my contract and send them a cancellation letter in a certified mail. I disputed the charges on my credit card. The credit card company give me a temporary credit while they are doing investigation. Credit Card company give the merchant a time frame to respond to their investigation. The Silver Saddle Ranch did not respond to my letter and did not respond to the investigation. So the credit card company gave me the favor, meaning I got the whole amount that was charge from my credit card.
Note: "not every credit card are willing to help” I used two of my credit card. Credit card # 1 gave me a refund of the whole amount, Credit card # 2 didn’t give me a refund the fact that I’ve been a valued customer for a long period of time. Anyway, I closed my credit card # 2 and other bank regular checking account to prevent unauthorize charges.
Couple years later, I got letters from collection agency demanding for payments. I contacted them and told them that I don’t owed anything to Silver Saddle Ranch. They threatened me that If I don’t pay, they will report it to credit bureaus. This threat doesn’t scared me a bit. Number one, I use credit card for convenient. Number two, I don’t have plan to buy property in the future. Third, if I want to buy property, I’ll pay cash!!! Because I don’t like debts. I hate debts.
So, to all victims out there, if they try to threaten you that they will sue you, what for? You don’t have the land in your possession once you cancel the contract. They are the one who have the possession of the land and sell it over and over again. And if ever they succeed to take you to the court, that would be your best chance to explain your case and get justice. Hope this comment help! Good luck with your case. Don’t get scam by your own kapwa Filipino.

I'm a victim too and made the mistake of investing. I filed a cancellation letter the next day and disputed the charges on my credit card. I kept on calling the real estate agent and she told me my letter has been forward to the corporate office. I'm concerned about the $6000 deposit money I made. Is disputing the charges on the credit card enough or should I hire a lawyer? Can you recommend a lawyer for me. Thanks

Hi, I also made the mistake of investing, and I hired a lawyer to have the contract canceled. They would not let me cancel the contract even after a few hours of signing it. I got all my money back. Good luck to you!
