AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Whatever you do, do NOT use this company! We set up an appointment to have our carpets cleaned because we saw an ad saying they would charge $69. When the man arrived, however, he informed me that due the state of the carpets, a "deep cleaning" was required and it would cost $400.

First of all, our carpets are almost new. There was absolutely no need for a deep cleaning. But I recognized right away what he was doing.

VIOLATION #1: Bait and Switch

I turned the deep cleaning down and asked the technician to leave. But there was a problem--he refused to leave! In fact, the more I told him "no" and asked him to leave, the more obstinate he became about not leaving. He would not take no for an answer and REFUSED TO LEAVE MY HOUSE. He just kept insisting that I pay him $400 to clean the carpets. I refused and repeatedly asked him to leave. Still, he wouldn't leave.

I am elderly and I really think that he felt like he could intimate me by refusing to leave.

VIOLATION #2: Intimidation

Actually, I was pretty shaken up and scared by this point--there was a strange man in my home and he simply refused to leave. Had I been in a better frame of mind, I would have realized that by refusing to leave my property upon my request he was breaking the law.

VIOLATION #3: Trespassing

If a Silver State technician comes to your home and refuses to leave, call the police immediately! He is breaking the law. It will also save you a lot of trouble in the long run. Because, frankly, the only way I could get this guy to leave my home was to give him $20.

VIOLATION #4: Extortion

I'm furious that I had to pay this guy to leave my house--no services performed, obviously. The only thing he got paid for was leaving my house. By this point I was frightened and didn't know what else to do. Obviously, there was no way someone like me could strong arm him out or force him to leave.

Here's the clincher: Even after he left my house, he went outside and sat in truck, which was parked in front of my house, for a VERY LONG TIME. Why? Why didn't he just leave? No, he had to hang out there for quite a long time. So he was STILL TRESPASSING.

Later, my husband called the company to complain. The person he spoke listened to the story, put him on hold, and then never came back on the line. Then he called back and spoke with someone else who not only didn't apologize for the technician's rude behavior and for extorting $20 out of me, the guy had the audacity to ARGUE with my husband!

VIOLATION #5: Corruption

This company is rotten from top to bottom.
