Silver State Schools Credit Union charging me negative fees when I never went negative. las vegas Nevada
I deposited $160 in cash. All my bills I had were totaled to $138. Two weeks later, I get a letter that I was charged a fee for going negative. When I never did. I called them and they told me they refused to take the fee off because "it was a credit union error" Don't deposit cash. They purposely use it as a reason to make you pay fees. Then the lady kept telling me if I needed any other help. I said take the fee off. I told her they have been changing my account non stop. Saying I deposited 160. No I deposited 320. No. I deposited 120. No I never made a deposit. Obviously, they don't know how to properly let someone deposit cash. Or they do it on purpose but seeing the other reviews, I'm not the only one they did this to.

What did your check register say on the day of the overdraft? What was your on going running balance? What items were still outstanding when you made the deposit which would be easy to determine from your check register or other written records?
