I take care of my car.

Before the car was picked up the oil was recently changed, including the transmission fluid. The car never used oil. Brake fluid was up and the brake pedals were up. When I bought new tires, the brakes were inspected and found to be in excellent condition.

When it was dropped off the brake pedal traveled almost to the floor, the brake fluid was down, the transmission fluid was burned, the engine oil was down a half a quart, the driver's door pillar moulding was torn off and there were parts from a broken accessory plug stuck in the cigarette lighter. The brakes would hardly stop the car. The windows were left open for the cross-country trip so the car was covered with diesel soot and oil inside and out.

The car did not have more than about forty-five additional miles showing on the odometer but it's condition was like it towed the rig that picked it up. It's an 89 Bonneville LE. A lesser car would have blown to pieces the way it was abused.

When I complained to the Silverado office all I got was denial
