Silverleaf Resorts misleading, deceptive, and outright lies Dallas, Texas
Invited to view and see property and grounds. Enticed with special offers which don't tell the whole story. Later invited back for special upgrades,and more benefits. But it doesn't end there. No...next a special in another area which is in white and a great buy because it's about to go red. An out and out lie. Only you don't find out until later. You then call and confront them with their lie plus you can't afford two properties and two maintenance fees.
They apologize and say they'll make it right. They come up with this great plan they'll give full credit for what you've paid in on the two and trade you down to a single unit so you'll only have one payment and one maintenance fee. The only problem is the single pmt. and fee is higher than the double you had. Then you go back to the war room and they agree to give you credit for all you've paid in and trade you back to the original resort you started in (but you had an easy access contract) because you have a handicapped sister-in-law who's in a wheel chair and they put you on the second floor.
We've been with Silverleaf for about seven years now and only been able to use it two maybe three times and this month they raised the maintenance fee $5 a month. But deal with them or try to sell it! No Way! This is a total scam. They entice you and you're stuck. You can't sell it and they know it but they don't care they're getting their money. They've probably paid for the properties a 100 Xs over.
