Complaint Review: SILVERSPRING LENDING SERVICES

   Well if you are reading this report I am sorry its to late you have just done what I did and its ok to cry.

    When i initially applied for this loan of 5000.00 they called me and said that i would have to make the first 9 payments for collateral so i said to joshua finely that if i had 900 why would I be needing a loan in the first place? He told me that other people were pullig from their rent and whatnot to make this 9 payments in advance. and he told me to have a nice day and thank you for your time.

   Well I really needed this loan to pay off some other loans that were putting a dent in my paycheck every month so i googled the company and nothing like this report came up. I think they did something to my search engine so I could not look them up. After I sent the money I had no problem fining reports like this very one.

   So I did it I borrowed 800 dollars and Pawned my IPOD so I could send the 800 to them in Canada. I had to send it Via Western Union and call them back with the control number. Mind you at this time I was really Depending on the loan because I spent my Grocery Money and Everything to do this. The way I was looking at it is that its no big deal they will send the 5000 tomorrow and I can buy grocerys then. Wow was I stupid. So after I came home and told my husband that I sent it western union he got mad and I started doing some research on the company and when I typed in Silverspring lending services sure enough this site and yahoo answers popped up with all kinds of bad reports about them. \

   So I called mr Finley and told him that I kow I have been Screwed and he played innocent of course! I asked him why the adress to the company is an empty buildinng up for lease and he played innocent. I asked him why the company was not registered with the BBB and he said they were a federal company so they didn't have to. So I asked for his Company's Federal tax id number and he said he didn't know it off the top of his head but he would get back to me with it. I told him that I hope all of him and his accomplises go to prison for a long time.

   He assured me that it was not a scam and that my funds would be in by 5pm so at 3:30 I got a call from their company's so called customer service which was an unavailable number and he said that there was a problem. He said that the 800 I sent was only enough to go to the Lenders insurance policy. He said theres only 2 things that can be done. 1 I could get a refund of the money I sent or 2 I would have to send an additional 9 payments so that my funds could be realeased to me. I of course by this time am laughing and I say I want my refund (at this time I had accepted that I would not get it) he told me that I would get my refund via direct deposite on December 1st. I told him what a shame I am i the process of closing that account was there any way I could get it sooner. He told me that they would send me a Certifed Check on Dec 1st.

   I know now I will never see that money. My advice to you is to calm down breath and start the  process that I did. 1st report it to the authorities via this website https://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx Then go change your account at your bank asap! Change your signiture because they now have that on  your fake a*s loan contract that you faxed back. Change your liscence number they have that that you faxed as well. Then notify your credit report of a fraud alert so they cannot take anything else from you!

   Again I am sorry this has happened to you. It seems to me if they were to creat such an elobrate scam why cant they get a real job?  I am a member of the Military and I fight for our country but if this is what freedom is well......
