We were red to the distibutor silverstarrs.com paula sorce who at first stated your not supposed to wear the ring or get it wet.......after weeks of emails and phone calls paula sorces insuance company denied the claim and silverstarrs refused to compensate /i have all thier emails texts and pictures just request.

Hot Topics wont do anything they simply dont care/district manager jenny agnew,
the real villain here is paula sorce and silverstarrs she is vile mean spirited woman who wont take responsabilit for her junk jewlry,so i have a permanent scar no compensation cas closed on paula sorces garbage company.

comments made aboutthe ring in question are not true
when hot topic contacted me, i immediately contacted lori, wife of gary
for whom she told me she purchased the ring.
i informed her my insurance company would take care of her/his claim
but that she must seek medical attention for which she would have been
reimbursed. i have always been as helpful as i could whenever i was emailed
or phoned.
mycompany , silver starrs, has been in bz severl years and we have shipped
millions of items to various department and specialty stores.
we, as suppliers, are required to have insurance for any such claims
this insurance is quite expensive. In all my 30 plus years as a supplier to
various retailers, i have had only one complaint . that complaint was satisfied
by our insurance company and there was no further action necessasry or taken.
my insurance agent informed me that they informed gary to seek medical help
in addition gave him the name of a dr. to see. he refused and has had no
medical bills to submit. for whatever reason, both he and lori have been un
cooperative in this regard and were declined. I have nothing to do with this decline as all is handled by our Insurance carrier. I believe they have explained to this
complaintant the reasons why. In addition I have shipped thousand and thousands
of rings to Hot Topic and over 50,000 to another retailer. I have yet to receive one
complaint aside from this alledged problem with gary and/or lori.
i was told that when the insurance inspector visited gary, there was no signs
of any infection or wound?????
I tried my best to be helpful and accommodating... if they refused to seek
medical attention, what else can i say.
thank you
paula
