I have purchased one of their Roulette strategy systems(Name: Target Roulette) online a couple of weeks ago. The actual strategy shown in the ebook was unclear and misleading, but anyway I gave it a try in one of my favorite online casinos. Obviously it didn't work at all and I've lost a lot of money because of that.

I wanted my refund back so I emailed to them and they've replied to my request but wanted me to show them their confirmation email(the email they've sent me right after the purchase online). So I did exactly what they've told me to do, but guess what? now they aren't even answering my emails any more.

The only actually profitable gambling advice: open your own casino!

Frances... I hope that this is a learning experience for you, and that you avoid paying for any kind of gambling advice in the future. Aside from knowing the strategies behind certain card games, there are absolutely no gambling systems that will statisticaly provide a profit in the long run. While poker can be beatable because you are not playing against the house, and blackjack is beatable if you're willing to go through the HUGE trouble of counting cards (for very small returns), no game that involves dice or spinning things is beatable in the long run.

Whatever the ssytem was that you were sold on, I'm sure it involved either predicting numbers or progressive betting (or some combination of the two). Roullette, however, is a game of "independent trials," meaning that the outcome of each spin is not at all dependent on the spins that preceeded it. 34 could come up five times in a row. 16 spins could go by without ever hitting black. Single zero (european) roulette has a house advantage of about 2.8%, double zero has a house advantage of 5.6%. No matter what system you are using, you will, in the long run, lose this percentage of the money you lay on the table.

Intutitively, most roullette systems sound pretty good. Mathematically, however, the game is impossible to beat. If you use a progressive system, the time you lose (because either you've hit the table limit or you're out of cash) will cancel out all of your winnings up to that point, plus some.

Just remember, if anyone ever actually develops a profitable gambling system, they'll keep it to themselves. Publicizing a profitable system will only prompt the casinos to put rules in place that make it worthless. This is exactly what happened with cardcounting.
