Simi Valley Ford ripoff consumer fraud ripoff Simi Valley California
I leased a 2002 Ford F-150 4x4 from this dealer and have had mechanical problems that the dealer will not fix and found out the truck had a major repair done to it before I bought it.
This truck was listed on the lot as a Red Tag deal because it was a dealer demo and I asked if anything was wrong with the truck or had anything been done to it? I was told No it was just like new and in perfect shape, only driven to and from work by the Sales manager. Later I found out that the transmission was changed out when it was new but this fact was never mentioned to me even though I asked.
I was also charged more than the Red Tag price in the window and the dealer charged me for the miles they put on it. They also told me it had a 36,000 3 year warantee that was from the time of purchase by me, wrong! It was from the date the dealer started using the truck 8 months earlier.
I also traded in a 2001 Expitition that I was promised would be paid off but the diference between the payoff and what the dealer wanted to pay was more than $4000.00 also leased from them. $4000.00 added to my lease of the 2002 F-150.
The owner of this dealership offered me $1000.00 to basically shut up, I turned them down.
They did not have the Buyers Guide in the window as required by Federal Law either.
I have contacted Ford Motor Company and that has been a waste of time. They say that there is not a thing they can do to help but will take notes.
The service Department said that the repairs I wanted done were normal conditions of this truck, Cupping tires and power steering noise.
I have had this truck in 4 times and the dealer has refused to buy it back. I even hired a lawyer and this dealer refused to answer the lawsuit to this date.
I have sent a complaint to the DMV also.
Warn all others to stay away from this dealer.

If this is a "rip off" dealer, certainly you should stay away from them.
Not only that, stay away...FAR AWAY...from getting into a CAR FLEECE!!!!!
Getting into a CAR FLEECE with a new car is insane.
Getting into a CAR FLEECE with a used car is plain stupid!

I live near Simi. I am in the market for 2 Fords. I was going to purchase a new pick-up, and car for my wife. With all the negative Simi/Beatty Ford reports, I know to stay clear from those crooks. Thanks to all you Rip-Off repoters.
