Simoniz Fix It False advertising, over charging Internet
I bought the Simoniz Fix It on line, it was advertise as 19.95 plus shipping, Also with that you would get the small car vac and the diamond car wax for free at additional shipping.
This I agreed to, however, I was charged 51.80 and then I got a package and all three items were in it together. I paid three separeate shipping and handling charges for three items that came together in one box which does not seem right to me so I sent and email and was told The following...
Your order was for 1 Fix It Kit at $19.95 plus $9.95 shipping and handling. You also ordered 1 vac and 1 liquid diamond car wax. These items are free but the vac has a $12.95 shipping and handling charge and the wax has a $7.95 shipping and handling charge.
Every item that we sell has a shipping and handling charge for it. This does not mean that they are shipped in a different box. Some of the items we offer are free but you only pay the shipping and handling charge.
Can they do things like that to consumers? I might not be the sharpest knife in the kitchen but this does not seem right to me, is there anything that can be done?
